Li Xueli, Deputy Director of the Jincheng Municipal Party Committee’s Publicity Department and Director of the Municipal Cyberspace Administration Office, outlined the citywide schedule for Cybersecurity Awareness Week. She noted that this year’s Awareness Week will focus on three key areas of activity. First, the city will emphasize cultural empowerment to make cybersecurity outreach relatable and down-to-earth. By drawing deeply on the cultural heritage of Jincheng’s “Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions” and leveraging the two major IPs “Feng Xiao’an” and “Feng Xiaoxia,” the city will release a series of short videos and posters to disseminate security knowledge in a way that resonates with the public, ensuring that cybersecurity concepts take root in people’s minds. Second, the city will adopt a tailored approach to ensure comprehensive cybersecurity education. During Cybersecurity Week, six themed days—including Campus Day, Telecommunications Day, and Rule of Law Day—will be organized to deliver targeted education and outreach by industry and sector; cybersecurity “free consultations,” cross-border e-commerce compliance briefings, and practical emergency drills will be conducted to hone risk response capabilities; the team will participate in online Q&A sessions on the “People’s Hotline” program; and the “Silver Age Cybersecurity Protection Initiative” will be expanded to help seniors bridge the digital divide and avoid online scams. Third, we are committed to public participation to strengthen our cybersecurity defenses. Tailoring our approach to the characteristics of different groups, we will conduct cybersecurity awareness and outreach campaigns through various online and offline formats, ensuring that cybersecurity concepts truly resonate with the public, become part of their daily lives, and reach a broader audience.
