During winter, the wild swans and mallards gather at Du Zhai Reservoir in Gaoping City, bringing a lively spirit to the tranquil waters and attracting many photography enthusiasts to capture the moment.
At Duzhai Reservoir, the water surface shimmers with ripples. Snow-white swans glide like graceful spirits, sometimes spreading their wings to sweep across the lake, other times drifting quietly through the water. Flocks of mallards move with leisurely ease, playing or foraging, harmoniously complementing the shoreline vegetation and distant landscapes to create a serene winter ecological tableau.
Photography enthusiast Shen Luyu remarked, “I often come out to capture scenes. Our local ecological environment keeps improving, with increasing numbers and varieties of birds. I've documented many fascinating and vivid ecological beauties through my lens.”
The gathering of migratory birds serves as a vivid testament to Gaoping City's continuously improving ecological environment. In recent years, Gaoping has intensified efforts to protect its ecosystems. Through river management, water conservation, afforestation, and other measures, the city has steadily improved its environmental quality.
