Jincheng, Huanghe News Network (Reporter Song Yueting) — On the morning of September 15, the launch ceremony for the 2025 National Cybersecurity Awareness Week activities in Jincheng was held in Gaoping City. This year's event centered on the theme “Cybersecurity for the People, Cybersecurity by the People — Safeguarding High-Quality Development with High-Level Security.”


At the event, the Jincheng Municipal Public Security Bureau announced the city's achievements in combating cybercrime, while the People's Bank of China Jincheng Branch shared progress in fintech applications for protecting personal financial information and ensuring financial data security.

During the awareness week, Jincheng will launch a series of themed activities. Through integrated online and offline initiatives and innovative communication channels, the city aims to effectively enhance public cybersecurity awareness and protective skills. Li Xuelin, Deputy Director of the Jincheng Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department and Director of the Municipal Cyberspace Affairs Office, stated during the event introduction that this year's campaign will feature six themed days: Campus Day, Telecommunications Day, Rule of Law Day, Finance Day, Youth Day, and Personal Information Protection Day. Concurrently, the city will conduct 100 cybersecurity training sessions and emergency drills led by Chief Cybersecurity Officers, strengthening cybersecurity safeguards across multiple dimensions.

During the launch ceremony, Jincheng unveiled its cybersecurity awareness mascot “Feng Xiao'an” and released the cybersecurity theme song “Cyberspace Dream Chasers,” employing more accessible communication formats to foster a strong atmosphere of “cybersecurity for the people, cybersecurity by the people.”

Additionally, counties, districts, and relevant departments across Jincheng simultaneously launched distinctive activities: Chengqu District hosted the second “Cybersecurity Knowledge Promotion Festival,” while Gaoping organized the “E-Guardians: Building Safety Together” Cybersecurity Carnival. Localities also utilized online civility fairs and similar formats to disseminate cybersecurity knowledge to grassroots communities, benefiting the public. Through collective participation, they are weaving a denser protective network and fortifying cybersecurity defenses.
