Qinglian Temple, first known as Kipsi Temple, is located in Kipsi Mountain, 17 kilometers southeast of Jincheng City District, Shanxi Province, north of the Temple South Village. Because the temple's Shakyamuni sitting on top of the lotus seat, so the name Qinglian Temple. The ancient temple was built in the Northern Qi Dynasty during the years of Tianbao; the new temple was built in the Tang Dynasty in the second year of Dahuo (828).On January 13, 1988, the Qinglian Temple was announced by the State Council of the People's Republic of China as the third batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Under the sunlight, the golden-colored ginkgo biloba leaves are like millions of butterflies fluttering in the air, and the scattered ginkgo biloba leaves on the ground are like a thick velvet carpet.
